Web Form Enhancements
Jul 25, 2018Web Form Enhancements
At DSplus, we are always working to enhance program components—and this year we implemented our web forms. These are pre-populated submission forms embedded into model landing pages which allow consumers to quickly and easily submit leads on vehicles they’re interested in. Thanks to web forms, low-funnel opportunities will be delivered directly to your dealership.
And, consumers now have the option to include trade-in information while submitting their request for more information. Here’s how it works: the consumer completes all the fields in the web form. When they submit the form, our engine uses Edmunds True Market Value to instantly assess the value of any trade-in vehicle (the engine assumes it is in “clean” condition, since it doesn’t add or subtract from the value of the car). While the consumer doesn’t see that information, this is included in the lead that goes to the dealership’s CRM.
What will you see in your CRM? Well, here is an example: “TRADE-IN INFORMATION: This consumer has a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LT 4dr SUV w/1LT (2.4L 4cyl 6A), with 37,000 miles, in outstanding condition. Edmunds True Market Value trade-in estimate projects this vehicle is worth $15,520.00. The consumer has not been shown this estimate by DSplus.”
In addition to trade-in information, you may also see information pulled in from the Most Likely Buyers report. If a consumer who submits a web form is also on the dealership’s Most Likely Buyers report, the lead will contain their score, recent engagement, and Likely Replacement Vehicle (if available). This information will be in the comments section of the lead.
